Webinar on HT-HP integrationsuccess stories

This online event is organised in the framework of SPIRIT, PUSH2HEAT and SUSHEAT, three EU projects funded under the Horizon Europe Programme, which are working to foster the uptake of high-temperature heat pumps in the industrial sector.

The aim of the webinar is to present the challenges but also the solutions that hide behind the integration of industrial heat pumps, not only from the perspective of the technology provider but also from the point of view of the end-user, i.e. all those industries that are “heat-pump ready” and can benefit from the installation of this technology to power their processes.

The speakers will present some success stories of integration of high-temperature heat pumps in industrial sites to showcase concrete examples of how several production sectors can benefit from installing these engines in their plants.

The webinar comes a few months after the European Commission’s decision to postpone the Heat Pump Action Plan until after the EU elections, which are due to be held in June this year. Policy support is the vessel through which we can achieve the decarbonisation of European industry, and a call to action is needed to restate that high-temperature heat pumps are one of the most valid means leading to energy savings and CO2 emissions reduction of industry.
